Koume (Wakareru) the Kitsune- Koume is a one-tail Kitsune. Born in the 1940's in Japan, she is still very young for a kitsune and still considered adolescent. She emigrated with her mother, Chika the Kitsune, to the United States in 1995. She has an intense hatred for werewolves, including her adopted brother Zachary Peterson. Koume is rarely without her katana, which Mother Chika had custom made for her. Darius Schrodinger- Darius is a Vampire in the service of the Red Gate Society. Born in Germany in the 1500's, he joined the Red Gate Society in the last few decades. He is both aloof and lazy, common traits in vampires. He is typically found in possession of an antique long sword. Mother Chika the Kitsune- Chika is a five-tail fire Kitsune, over 400 years old. She is a staunch defender of the Immortal Interference Code, and founder of the Red Gate Society. She is the mother of Kyoki Kitsune and Koume Kitsune, and adoptive mother of Zachary Peterson. Zachary Peterson- Zachary is a werewolf and adopted son of Mother Chika. Born in 1927 in Illinois. He considers his immortality a curse. Highly dedicated, he hunts rogue immortals like the ones who cursed him with unrivaled passion. His twin silver-plated, .45 caliber pistols are always kept tucked underneath his trench coat. Toshiaki Tanuki- One of the shape-shifting racoon dogs of Japanese legend, Toshiaki is a veteran member of immortal hunting societies. Affiliates of the Red Gate Society Dr. Alan Kalashnikov- Dr. Kalashnikov is a teacher of history and mythology at a New York state university. His research into ancient civilizations has made him a target in the immortal community. Born in the state of Maine in 1955, he has had no contact with, or awareness of the presence of immortals until now. The Red Gate Society's Most Wanted Michael- Michael is a vampire of unknown origins. He first appeared on the immortal scene in the 13th century. Renowned for showing up when most inconvenient, he stalks and kills other immortals for amusement. Though rarely causing mischief among mortals, he delights in tormenting organizations that enforce the Immortal Interference Code. Usually, Michael caries a longsword and a .50 caliber pistol loaded with his trademark engraved silver bullets. Kyoki the Kitsune - Kyoki is a two-tail kitsune, the son of Chika. He has served in the Red Gate Sociey and Fox of the Sword Society. He is a nogitsune (renegade kitsune) intent on furthering his own mysterious agenda. The spectre - A spectre is a dangerous foe. Able to walk through walls, normal weapons pass through them like water. Only well prepared combatants can take down a beligerant spectre. Unknown Col. David Davison- Colonel Davison is a member of the covert United States combat force known as Battalion Zero. Gen. Courtney Marshall- General Marshall is the leader of the covert United States combat force known as Battalion Zero. Working under direct orders from undisclosed members of Congress, she maintains the organization's agenda.
