August 16th(Guam Time) - September 9th(PST), 2005 USS San Francisco
makes the surface transit from Guam to Bremerton, WA via Pearl Harbor,
HI. Commander Ogburn relieves Commander Brenton on arrival.
Each crewmember will receive a piece of the undersea mountain. This
bit of rock was scooped up during the grounding. It lodged in the
damaged bow of the USS San Francisco and was carried 350 miles back to
Guam.
